2022 Presidents' Scholarship: Addison Rosiere
Addison Rosiere is the daughter of Shannon Rosiere, a NICU education coordinator at Cook Children’s.
A recent graduate of Eaton High School, Addison plans to attend The University of Oklahoma in the fall where she will be pursuing a career in Nursing. Following an experience as a patient at age 13, Addison was inspired by the compassion shown by the nursing staff to follow this path.
Assisting her future goals of working in health care, she participated in the Health Occupation Students of America Club and the EMT and Career and Technology Education programs. Addison was an enthusiastic leader, serving as President and Social Officer of the Eaton High Sapphires Drill Team. She believes that compassion and collaboration within a team allows everyone to showcase their strengths, which leads to overall success.
Over the course of her high school career, she challenged herself to countless advanced placement courses maintaining a 5.03 GPA. Addison has a plethora of volunteer activities, including her efforts in educating the community on behalf of Cook Children’s on the importance of water safety and bringing awareness to childhood drownings.
Lisa Hough, AP US History Teacher at Eaton High School says, “Addison has a contagious competitive spirit in and out of the classroom. This drive not only contributes to her success in my class, but in any future endeavors, as she will always be prepared, eager and reliable in her responsibilities.”
