We Heard You! Additional Shift Differential Adjustments Effective Feb. 11
An Important Message from the Executive Review Committee (ERC)
Many of you may have seen this communication in the fall about several adjustments to our shift and weekend differential pay.
Since this message was shared, our Compensation team has reanalyzed the program, and an additional change is being made based on feedback and input from you - our employees.
It is important for you to know the following:
- Your voice has been heard. These changes are a result of your feedback!
- We are changing to shift diff pay beginning at 5 p.m. rather than 7 p.m. This change will be effective going forward for the pay period beginning Feb. 11, 2024.
- For all shift diff.-eligible roles, we are adding a new gate (window of time) that will be required to work in order for shift diff pay to go into effect. Employees must work a minimum of 1.5 hours into the next shift in order for shift diff pay to kick in.
- For example, if you are scheduled to work 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., you will receive the differential beginning at 5 p.m. if you work until at least 6:30 p.m. If you clock out before 6:30 p.m., the time from 5 p.m. until you leave will be paid at the regular rate.
We value you and want to compensate you fairly.
Thank you for everything you do, and for feeling comfortable making your voice heard.
