Cook Children’s Health Care System celebrated doctors and medical staff on National Doctors' Day, March 30, with its annual Slime-A-Doc event. More than 25 of your colleagues - including family support services staff, doctors, nurses, child life specialists, social workers, advanced practice providers, volunteers, and members of our administrative team - donned their best outfits to find out who would be the “People’s Choice” for a green-slime bath.
The Henderson Employee Clinic is closed from March 30 - April 3 for building updates/team training. The location will reopen for Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) appointments on April 6.

Attend Adolescent & Young Adult Virtual Patient Panel
For adolescent and young adult (AYA) oncology patients, experiences through their treatment and life may differ from our younger patients. Learn more about adolescent and young adult patient experience with a virtual panel open to all employees.
The virtual patient panel will be from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. on April 8. This is an accredited activity so clinical staff can receive an hour of CEs for attending.

Show off Artistic Talent for World Art Day
Do you have a hidden artistic talent that you don’t typically get to show off in your role? This is your moment!
Staff from all departments are invited to participate in an upcoming chalk art festival and show off their skills at the Medical Center - Fort Worth on April 15. No experience is required; this is just a fun event in honor of World Art Day. It’s all about creativity and making a fun event for patients and families to enjoy.
Sign up solo or as a team to create a chalk art drawing in an assigned square and help us add a little color to the sidewalks.
