Don't Miss Out: Halloween Hoopla Festivities
Everyone in the system is welcome to participate in the virtual Halloween Hoopla costume contest. This is open to all employees and registration is due at 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 2. Please complete a registration form and photo to enter the contents for individuals or groups.
To participate in the in-person Halloween Hoopla at the Medical Center-Fort Worth please submit your costume forms by 11:59 a.m. on Oct. 31. This in-person event will take place from 2-3 p.m. on Oct. 31 in front of the Medical Center-Fort Worth. It will be live streamed. Stay tuned for the viewing link.
As part of our continued efforts to modernize our technology environment, Follow Me Desktop (FMD) — the virtual desktop you access through Citrix — will be upgraded to the new Microsoft 365 desktop applications on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
An option for direct billing is now available. If you meet qualifications for employee educational assistance, Cook Children's can pay your tuition upfront directly to your school. This new enhancement will remove your out-of-pocket expenses toward your tuition so that you can focus on your education and success. Please be advised that participation in direct billing may vary by school.

Spiritual Care is inviting departments, units, clinics and teams to participate in Holiday Help, an annual drive for groups to sponsor patient families or help fulfill the Child Life Wish List. Registration is open through Nov. 9.
