Connecting the Dots: Gratitude Wall
“Gratitude is one of the many positive emotions. It's about focusing on what's good in our lives and being thankful for the things we have. And then THANKING others so they know it too!”
--Nancy Cychol, Executive Vice President Hospital Services, Cook Children's Medical Center

In the spirit of our Values of kindness and generosity, managers at a recent leadership event took the time to express their heartfelt appreciation for Cook Children's employees. Their words of gratitude were written down on giant boards, creating a visual tapestry of recognition and appreciation.
And since November is National Gratitude Month, we thought it would be wonderful to hear from our employees across the System. So, the gratitude wall is embarking on a journey to several Cook Children's locations, giving everyone a chance to share their thoughts and express their gratitude to their colleagues.
The first stop for the gratitude wall is the Rosedale Office Building (next to the first floor elevators), where it's already up and ready to receive your stickers of gratitude. Simply grab a sticker, write down your message of appreciation, and place it on the wall.
Let's spread the joy of gratitude throughout Cook Children's! Join us in creating a chorus of appreciation among our amazing employees.
Here's how you can participate:
- Visit the gratitude wall at your location.
- Grab a sticker and write down your message of appreciation.
- Place your sticker on the wall.
