Cook Children's Health Care System honors our nursing professionals through our Great 10 Nurse Ceremony and Daisy Leader Award Ceremony. With 80 nominations for the Great 10 Nurses Award Ceremony, a record-breaking number of nomination letters (over 100), our nursing professionals exemplify high-quality professionalism and care to our patients. These nominations came from across the system with our furthest nomination from Cook Children's Neurosciences Amarillo.

This year, Cook Children’s celebrated 25 nominated nursing professionals. The 2026 DAISY Nurse Leader Award was presented to Jordan Staggs, MSN, RN, CNE-Cl (5 South Tower) for her outstanding work and compassionate care.
