We are excited to bring Halloween Hoopla back to Cook Children’s. One important thing we need is – you! There’s still time to get your creative costume together and/or gather your colleagues for a fun-themed group costume and enter the Hoopla costume contest! On-Site Costume Registration: Submit your registration form now through noon on Friday, Oct. 29, for the on-site costume contest. Click here for the registration form. Then come down to the Camelot Court playground to check-in and get ready to show off your costume on stage for the judges and your colleagues at 2 p.m. that day. Virtual Hoopla Costume or Skit Registration: If you work from home or at any other Cook Children’s location, there’s still time to sign up for the virtual costume and skit contests! Your colleagues and our patients will vote for their favorites Nov. 3-7. Winners will be recognized the following week and will win a really cool prize! Click here for the virtual skit registration form or click here for the virtual costume contest. The virtual registration forms are due by midnight on Sunday, Oct. 31. Read the full details here.
COVID-19 Travel Restrictions Update We want to provide you with an update on Cook Children’s COVID-19 travel restrictions. Cook Children’s is continuing to discourage all business travel. As we shared this summer, we realize there are situations where travel is necessary or essential to the operations of Cook Children’s Health Care System. In these situations, business travel should be approved in advance in writing/email by a company president, or VP or above. As previously communicated, no international travel for business will be approved by Cook Children's at this time. We are hopeful COVID-19 numbers in our community will continue to decline, and we will be revisiting these travel restrictions in January 2022. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
