Cook Children’s New Website Launches Tomorrow (Oct. 26 in the early evening)

The Marketing and Digital Experience teams have worked together to develop a new digital front door experience for cookchildrens.org that involves a refresh of our design, an emphasis on user experience, and enhanced search technology.

  • Optimizely is the name of this new web platform, replacing SharePoint.
  • The new interface, and the code running behind the scenes, provides a strong emphasis on usability for our visitors.
  • Improved doctor, location, and content search functions will be powered by our partner, YEXT.
  • Your existing content is being migrated to the new site and is being reviewed to ensure it is better than ever.
  • The underlying technology supports a wide range of experiential enhancements we can, such as personalization, customer support tools, surveys, and new scheduling options.

Want a sneak peek of what the site looks and feels like? Open the attachment in the Outlook message to learn more.

COVID-19 Travel Restrictions Update

We want to provide you with an update on Cook Children’s COVID-19 travel restrictions. Cook Children’s is continuing to discourage all business travel.

As we shared this summer, we realize there are situations where travel is necessary or essential to the operations of Cook Children’s Health Care System. In these situations, business travel should be approved in advance in writing/email by a company president, or VP or above.

As previously communicated, no international travel for business will be approved by Cook Children's at this time.

We are hopeful COVID-19 numbers in our community will continue to decline, and we will be revisiting these travel restrictions in January 2022.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
