Cook Children's Plants Pinwheels for Child Abuse Prevention Month
The month of April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and here at Cook Children's Health Care System we acknowledge every child deserves a loving childhood. You will notice pinwheels on our Fort Worth and Prosper campuses. These pinwheels are a national symbol for child abuse prevention.
These 1,540 pinwheels represent a child abuse visit with Cook Children's CARE Team in 2024. Take a look at our photos from Cook Children's Medical Center- Fort Worth taken by Eduardo Padilla, Intern for the Public Relations Department.
The 1,148 pinwheels on our Prosper Campus reflect a victim of child abuse in Denton County in 2024. Take a look at our photos from our Cook Children's Prosper Campus taken by Eline De Bruijn, Public Relations Manager.
