Cook Children's Public Relations Team Brings Home 4 Worthy Awards
Cook Children's Corporate Communications and Public Relations: Where the Best Begins!
The Cook Children's Corporate Communications and Public Relations had a big night at the 9th Annual Worthy Awards, hosted by the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). The Worthy Awards began in 2012 to raise awareness of the value of public relations and recognize the top strategic communications in the area.
Our own Wini King, Senior Vice President and Chief of Communications, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, was named the 2021 Douglas Ann Newsom, APR, Fellow PRSA, PR Professional of the Year.
In addition, the Cook Children's team submitted four entries and came home with four top awards called Worthy Awards. It was the most won by anyone in town, including some of the top public relations and ad agencies.
To say that we are pretty excited would be an understatement; however, our achievements would not be possible without the wonderful collaboration with so many of you across the system.
The award categories, along with our projects that were recognized, are:
Public Service
- Worthy Award: The Joy Campaign
External Video
- Worthy Award: Cook Children’s Dancing Dad
Feature Story/Brand Journalism
- Worthy Award: Christmas in the COVID Units: A Rare Glimpse Inside a Children’s Hospital During the Pandemic
Internal Communications
- Worthy Award: Cook Children’s Internal Communications Response to COVID-19
A special thank you to all those who worked with us and contributed to these campaigns!
