Cook Children's Receives 2022 Community Lifesaver Award

Congratulations to our Safe Kids North Texas – Fort Worth, led by Cook Children's team for receiving the 2022 Community Lifesaver Award at the National Water Safety Conference. 

“Safe Kids leads the campaign, but truly, all of our departments that support this campaign are recipients of this national recognition,” said Dana Walraven, manager, Community Health. “The Center for Children's Health, Marketing, Public Relations, Health Analytics, Trauma Services, Emergency Department, Health Foundation, Health Plan, Physician Network and countless community partners support the Lifeguard Your Child campaign.” 

The Cook Children's team also received an unexpected donation of $1,000 from the Independent Pool and Spa Service Association (IPSSA).
