Director of Pastoral & Spiritual Care Announcement

We are pleased to announce Jennifer Hayes has accepted the position of Director of Pastoral & Spiritual Care. Jennifer joined Cook Children’s in 2016 as the PICU Chaplain and additionally, since 2020, has served as the PRN Chaplain Supervisor. She graduated with the Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Bethel University and is ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Jennifer is also trained in mediation and CISM. With 13 years of chaplain experience, Jennifer previously served as Chaplain at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger in Chattanooga, Tennessee, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Montgomery Bell State Park. She enjoys coaching soccer with the YMCA and serving on the board at Cumberland Presbyterian Children’s Home. 

As you may all be aware, Pam Foster is retired in March 2022. Pam joined Cook Children's in 2005 and was previously held the director role since January 2014.
