Early Tenure Milestones Added to the Service Awards Program

We have some exciting news to share about the Service Awards Program! One-year and three-year milestones have now been added to the program (our program year is May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026).

Our early tenure staff are an important part of fulfilling our Pinky Promise to patients and families. We want them to feel valued, recognized and celebrated for the work they do so they stay and grow with Cook Children’s. Read below about plans to recognize recipients. 

One-year and three-year milestone recognition:

Recipients will receive a congratulatory email card from Team Experience during their anniversary quarter

A new recognition event, Connect & Celebrate, has been created to recognize recipients. The event includes the opportunity to connect with leaders and colleagues, learn about system updates firsthand, ask questions and share feedback about their work experiences.

Employees up to the director level will receive an invitation to attend a Connect & Celebrate event during their anniversary quarter. A link to RSVP will be included in their congratulatory email. The one-hour event includes lunch and will be held at the Fort Worth and Prosper campuses as well as virtually for off-site clinic staff.

Leaders can see their one-year and three-year recipients along with the five-year and above milestone recipients on the Workday Manager Dashboard under the “My Team” tab.

The first Connect & Celebrate events will be held in June and July for Q1 recipients (those who have one-year and three-year anniversaries in May, June and July 2025).
