Farewell to Victor Wakileh, Our Trusted Neighbor, Mechanic and Friend

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the death of Victor Wakileh, the beloved mechanic who worked at the Texaco station on Pennsylvania Avenue. Victor died last week in an automobile accident.

For more than three decades, Victor took care of the Cook Children's fleet of vehicles, 165 vehicles and counting, and quietly helped us fulfill our Promise through his diligent and faithful work as a mechanic.

Victor is survived by his wife and three children. Service details are below.
