Employees at Cook Children’s can now make updates to benefit elections and change their participation in health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, PTO sellback and more for the coming year.

open enrollment coming soonOpen enrollment for 2022-2023 employee benefits runs from Aug. 1-19. Elections and/or changes will go into effect on Oct. 1.

Beth Schmidt, assistant vice president for Human Resources, encouraged all employees to carefully read the benefits guide because the best decisions are informed decisions.

“We remain steadfast in our commitment to your health and well-being,” Beth writes in the guide’s welcome. “As we venture into our new benefits year, our priorities remain unchanged: Help inspire you and your family to improve your overall state of health while providing you with competitive, cost-effective and useful plans that meet your needs.”

The benefits guide includes topics such as what’s new, medical and pharmacy coverage, Teladoc, dental and vision coverage, CareATC, leave options, disability, retirement plans and additional benefits such as tuition assistance, financial assistance for adoption, and Legal Shield.
