Important Reminder: Visitor Exception Requests

Please remember that visitor exception requests for inpatients at the Medical Center or Dodson clinic appointments need to be sent PRIOR to the arrival of the patient and/or visitor. 

Instructions for submitting visitor exception requests:

• Please email visitorexceptions@cookchildrens.org
• Subject Line: SECURE - APPROVED or NEEDS APPROVAL (select one), Date of visit, Location
• Body:
  • Patient Name
  • Room Number/Clinic
  • Names of people being granted exception
  • Time of arrival
  • Reason for exception

(Offsite clinics are to continue to handle their own visitation exceptions internally within the clinic.)
