In Photos: Veteran's Group Volunteers With Habitat for Humanity
Members of the Cook Children's Veterans Group volunteered with Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, June 4 and Saturday, June 11. The group helped with caulking, siding, trim and more.
The first house was for a young couple with a small child, and the second house belongs to a family with seven children.
“It was such an honor to be able to contribute even just a small amount towards making this house into a home for a family to live in for years,” said Sherry Foster, senior secretary of Strategic Marketing & Communications and co-chair of the veteran's group. “It was nice to work alongside the family and seeing the progress of their home come to life.”
Thank you to this special group for going above and beyond outside of work to give back to our community!
