"It's Not About You Anymore. It's About Them." A Father's Day Message From Stan and Trinity Davis.

This year is a special Father's Day as it happens to fall on Juneteenth. We spoke to Stan Davis,  our Chief Operating Officer at Cook Children's, and Trinity Davis, his 16-year-old daughter and a volunteer at Cook Children's. They reflect on Father's Day and the importance of it falling on June 19.

Stan is a great example of the influence a good father has on his children and it looks like he is passing on the example of a good father to his own children. Continued blessings, as we all know that the duties and worries of a parent do not end when your children grow up and leave. Happy belated father's day and Juneteenth!

I truly enjoyed watching "Father's Day With The Davis Family". It is very important to recognize hard working father's who are hardworking. Not only at home, but at work. A few months ago, Stan worked a few hours in the Family Service Department to see what a Guest Relations Specialist does on a day to day basis. Stan greeted parents, patients and visitors as they entered the hospital. He took temperatures and not only did he give instructions on how to get to their appointment, but he actually walked parents/patients to the Dodson Specialty Clinic, ER and to the different units. Thanks Stan for being an example of a true father.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Stan's daughter Trinity is a smart young lady. She portrays the smile of her father.
