Las Vegas Trail Immunization Event

Download

By: Sydney Hanes and Arianna Flores

LVTRise hosted its most comprehensive back-to-school event, providing essential supplies and services to 440 community members, including 295 children. Staff and volunteers distributed school backpacks and uniforms, while a team from the UNT Health Science Center offered physicals. All items and services were provided at no cost to the attendees. On our side of the collaboration, we provided 104 immunizations to 50 children or teens in the local community.

“It was a wonderful event and the most comprehensive back-to-school event we have hosted! We are so thankful to Cook Children’s for supporting this important community event.”
