Open Enrollment Ends This Friday, Aug. 19

Summary

Employees at Cook Children’s have until Friday to make updates to benefit elections and change their participation in health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, PTO sellback and more for the coming year.

Open enrollment for 2022-2023 employee benefits started Aug. 1 and runs through Aug. 19. Elections and/or changes will go into effect Oct. 1.

Enroll by going to www.cookchildrensbenefits.com or by calling 833-251-9455.

This year, Cook Children's will be absorbing the costs of premium increases so that all employee contributions - including medical, dental and vision plans - remain unchanged. “This is one way we can show our gratitude for all you do, day in and day out, as you remain focused on our Promise of taking care of children and our communities," the benefits guide states. 

Options during open enrollment include: 

  • Enroll or re-enroll
  • Make changes to your benefit elections
  • Add or remove dependents
  • Enroll in a health care and/or dependent care Flexible Spending Account
  • Sign up to make health savings account contributions
  • Update your beneficiary information
