Peak Performer: Terri Ledebuhr

Every time I call central stores I hope Terri answers. She is positive and encouraging and never makes me feel like I am inconveniencing her. I have never met Terri in person but she is one of my favorite co-workers! She is incredibly knowledgeable and knows where everything is! Terri is prompt and never forgets to send up what we need and it is right every time. Even when I don't know the name of what I am looking for, it is like she can read my mind. Terri sends up exactly what I was picturing without me even having to give her the exact details. 

​Today I joked with her that I was going to challenge her because the wound care team ordered a dressing I had never heard of before. Immediately Terri says do you want 3x3 or 4x4 and how many? I laughed and said you know what this stuff is?! She said, "of course I do hun, that wasn't much of a challenge!" Within 3 minutes we had two boxes of this specific dressing that I had never heard of up here on the floor. Terri is amazing.

Terri really is a valuable asset to Cook Children's. I recently found out that she stepped into a Lead role and had zero training. After my head stopped spinning I asked her how she was doing such a good job, she said I just see something that needs to be done and I do it. Terri is pleasant and helpful to our customers; she is such an added benefit to our department. I am so thankful for her experience and knowledge.
