Peak Performer: Janice Nieland
Practice/Program Manager I, PCP Legacy- PN
Janice was a Peak Performer recipient for the fourth quarter of 2021 (July-September). Below is her nomination letter.
Janice is a rock star with the new acquisition of Collin County. She was asked to help out in the clinic and she has gone above and beyond to help in all areas. Janice stepped in to fill vacancies at the front desk, and she has taken on their billing, ordering, staffing (in all areas) while still doing a wonderful job managing her primary clinic, Legacy. When the manager resigned from Collin County, Janice dove in and used her management skills to lead the team and physicians with our systems and processes. Janice has turned the clinic around. Even with all the hustle and bustle of the COVID season, the physicians and staff have complimented that there is a calmness to the clinic, and is running smoother than ever before.
Because of Janice's strong management skills she was asked to take on the Collin County clinic as well as continue to manage the Legacy clinic. She has been an integral piece in calming the storm in the Collin County clinic. I have received so many compliments on Janice and how the clinic has changed so drastically. We have outside team members as well as the physicians and staff of the clinic complementing how the clinic is running smoothly since she has jumped in. The staff seems more at ease and confident in their job task. The physicians feel confident that Janice will address and resolve any issue that may come up. For all these reasons, Janice deserves Peak Performer recognition.
