Lauren personifies the term "team player" and is REHAB ROCKSTAR! She lives the Cook Children's Promise in all that she does while consistently exceeding expectations for patient care. Lauren is a ray of sunshine with a mega-watt smile and her positivity and energy are contagious. Lauren personifies the term “team player” as she recently accepted six additional weekly visits from another speech language pathologist (SLP) even though her caseload was extremely full. Being relatively new to Cook Children’s Home Health, Lauren hit the ground running and has not looked back. She is flexible with her patient families to ensure that all visits are at convenient times, to ensure each session is productive and fun!
Lauren received rave reviews from Cook Children’s Health Plan on her thorough, detailed, and precise documentation for an initial feeding evaluation on an infant. The utilization reviewer stated, “I just reviewed an initial infant feeding evaluation request for a patient that was excellent.... all information was precise and concise for this 5-month-old.” Lauren is a devoted and dedicated SLP and it is reflected in her work ethic and everyday demeanor.
