Peak Performer: Martha Rambonnet

I have worked with Martha for 5 years. She is always here - I made the quote that she is like the sun every day. She has the most amazing positive attitude. She always has a smile on her face and says hello to everyone. Her patients and families love her as well. She never makes them wait and when she has to hurt them with shots she always has treats since she has to be the bad guy sometimes. Specifically, Martha is the nurse for the flu clinic we do, the little ones get to check out without tears because they have already forgotten about the pain when Martha has lollipops and stickers ready for them.

Martha is easily approachable, she is always helpful, and has never made me feel like I was bothering her. I could name so many times that she has helped me even if it was not her patient. She works very well with Dr Eckel. One day, Dr. Eckel had a huge patient load and was so busy he could not catch a break the entire day. Martha came to me and asked if I would help her order a pizza for him that could be delivered so he could get something to eat. She takes care of her co-workers as well as she does our patients!
