Peak Performer: Tina Arellano

Tina is literally the only dental insurance specialist within the organization and she is AMAZING! Tina was here before the clinic opened seven years ago, housed at the Rosedale Office Building (ROB). She helped to put together the billing codes and insurance requirements for the Renaissance Neighborhood Clinic before we opened the doors to patients. 

Tina has a wealth of knowledge and assists with all things dental. With an incredible work ethic, Tina has great problem-solving skills and is always willing to jump in and help whenever needed. Tina has put together a detailed binder for all staff to use in the event she’s not in the office so anyone can grab her binder and solve dental issues in her absence. Whether obtaining authorizations, coordinating dental surgery or managing patients’ accounts, Tina does it all! 

Coming from a non-dental background, Tina has graciously shared her abundance of knowledge with medical staff as well as incoming new leadership. It is noticeable that Tina genuinely desires to see the Cook Children’s Dental Clinic flourish and she does everything in her power to ensure the patient experience is a good one starting with her ensuring everything is in place for a smooth visit. And her wonderful personality and willingness to work as a team is just the icing on top!
