| We want to welcome you to the first edition of Performance and Development Digest. We will continue to send regular updates as we aim to create a simpler and more consistent process for employee reviews, career planning, goal setting and more. We retired PACE after almost 30 years and are now using Workday to enable the components of P&D. |
Peer Feedback for Year-End Performance Reviews
Merridth Simpson, AVP Human Resources Operations, said a summary of the feedback will be shared with the employee as a job coaching tool. But it won’t affect anyone’s performance evaluation. “This feedback will not be part of the merit calculation, but rather a developmental input to help employees continue to grow,” Merridth said. “We want to foster a culture of honest and open feedback as an opportunity to improve your performance and growth.” On-demand, role-based training is available, complete with job aids and clickviews (step-by-step instructions). Click here to access these resources. NOTE: Performance & Development information is item No. 4 under Workday Resources Hub. Read more about our new Performance & Development platform here. Employees can also contact AskHRIS@cookchildrens.org with questions or for assistance. Here’s the high-level timeline of P&D activities, which is also covered in the training. Feedback runs through Aug 26.
August In-Person Training Beginning in August, we’ll start offering in-person training, also role-based, and covering more of the P&D functionality as we head into FY25. In addition to year-end activities, the August training will dive into mid-year check-ins, career growth planning and more. Here’s the timeframe for the in-person training opportunities. Registration for the in-person training will open around the end of July.
