We have moved right into February, welcome to Heart Month! It feels like spring outside, but Punxsutawney Phil says there are six more weeks of winter. Final Reminder: Complete UKG Workforce Management System TrainingFinal Reminder Option 2-1 Stock 

Kronos will be replaced with the UKG Workforce Management System. To ensure your schedules, paychecks and PTO are correct, all staff are required to complete the UKG Workforce Management System Training by the launch (go-live) date on Feb. 8, 2026.  

Training modules tailored to your role and scheduling responsibilities are now available on ULearn. Failure to complete this training may result in errors regarding your: 

  • Paychecks
  • Time clock submissions / schedules
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) submissions

Nominations Are Now Open for Slime-A-Doc 2026Slime a Doc Dr Moye


The Public Relations team is looking for the 2026 cast of Slime-A-Doc and they need your help!

The event will take place at 2 p.m., March 30, on the South Tower Lawn of Cook Children’s Medical Center – Fort Worth.

Each year, Cook Children’s patients, employees and fans vote on the doctors they want to be slimed. If you volunteer to be on the ballot, you must be available to be at the event.

Nomination categories include: 

  • Physicians
  • Nurses
  • Advanced Practice Providers
  • Volunteers
  • Administration 

If you would like to nominate a participant or throw your name in the hat to be slimed in an early celebration of Doctor’s Day, please send an email to social@cookchildrens.org. Please ensure the nomination includes their full name and title.

Save the Date: Mask Fits Important Stockpile-7  Stock

Occupational Health will be on-site at Prosper from 6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., March 3 – 5 in the 3rd floor classrooms 3332/3333. This session is designated for employees currently due for a fit test through those with expiration dates in May 2026. To ensure uninterrupted patient care, leadership kindly requests that you schedule your appointment on a scheduled off-day.

Note: If your renewal falls between June and August 2026, Occ Health will return for a follow-up session in June.
