Prosper News Update (Jan. 14, 2026)

Good afternoon Prosper family, 

Happy New Year, who can believe it is 2026! And we had a birthday! Happy third birthday to us!  Your leadership team is thankful for all that you have done to make our facility successful; we will continue to grow throughout this year and impact the lives of families in our community. Please remember that each and every one of you make a difference every time you enter the doors. 

Remember that we are in our Joint Commission window, if you see something that needs to be addressed or if you have questions please speak up. We are looking forward to a successful survey and want to address all issues before they visit.

One last thing, we want to thank everyone who helped plan our birthday party and came and celebrated. We also want to thank our dietary staff for cooking for us and for serving us. Please thank them, they put tons of effort into our celebration, and the food was absolutely wonderful!

Prosper Playground Now Open for Patients

We unveiled the new playground at Medical Center - Prosper at a special event last week. Before letting the kids loose, our staff had the job of finding out how fun the new playground is. 

It’s officially ready for patients and siblings to take over and we’ve confirmed it’s every bit as fun as it looks. 🎠

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Event and Resource Fair

Join us from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19, at Medical Center - Prosper, where we will be hosting a come and go as you please event to provide education and resources on sudden cardiac arrests. We will have hands-only CPR/AED training in rooms 1621 and 1622 and car seat checks in the parking lot. To register for a car seat check appointment, scan the QR code available here.

Upcoming Mask Fitting Dates

For those employees with a mask fit, you must be fit tested every 12 months. It is imperative that you schedule and keep your appointment, to ensure compliance with OSHA regulation and CCHCS policy HR950 (Respiratory Protection Program).

There are several upcoming dates available for mask fittings at Medical Center - Prosper. Please keep these dates on your radar as we approach them throughout the year.
