                        <title>Bunny Trail 2026 Applications Open</title>

                        <guid>https://www.cookchildrensconnect.com/bunny-trail-2026-applications-open/</guid><pp:caseid>738495</pp:caseid><description><![CDATA[<p>Your department is invited to participate in the Bunny Trail 2026 patient event from 10:30 am. - noon on Thursday, April 2, at the Cook Children's Medical Center - Fort Worth in the green space outside the Camelot Food Court!&nbsp;</p><p>Departments can join the fun by having a fun table where kids can snap photos with the bunny and collect items your department brings. There may be upwards of<strong> </strong>150 children, so please ensure your department is fully stocked with one-two items per child.</p><p>The first 20 applications will be guaranteed participation. Applications are due Monday, March 23. <span style="text-align:left;">For details and to sign up, please see the flyer attached under “Downloads” at the upper right-hand side of this page.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="text-align:left;">This event is for patients and siblings only; children of employees are not allowed to participate at this event.&nbsp;</span></p><p>Reminders for the Bunny Trail event:&nbsp;</p><ul><li data-list-item-id="e7e145e4e1e8aeb13efa024f6852a8109">Please do not dress as a bunny there will be a costumed bunny present for photo opportunities.</li><li data-list-item-id="e16603b0edb5cdc945d39c42f82d0e968">Each department will have a table and two chair, no canopies.</li><li data-list-item-id="e57199bfd5e1f00bbf0adb1983844ac6a">Set up can begin as early as 9:30 a.m.</li><li data-list-item-id="e30ebdd4a55a2c00e0513c2e67c54c87c">If weather does not permit the event will be moved indoors.</li><li data-list-item-id="e4f7457892ba1ea73220f9b9dbe7560d5">This is not a religious event so please refrain for sharing religious items</li><li data-list-item-id="e91a4abf05a51caf3ab70d10b9f7d98f7"><span>﻿﻿No edible treats.</span></li><li data-list-item-id="e07dbb782245ab78b87b5cad2fae532ab"><span>﻿﻿Please have safe alternatives (stickers, small stuffed animals, etc.) for ages 3 and under.</span></li><li data-list-item-id="ec7c4d035cd4f0d440177eef4a7d1f162"><span>﻿﻿No toys with small parts which may pose a choking hazard and latex balloons are not allowed in the hospital; mylar balloons are great!</span></li></ul><p><span>Photo rules:&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li data-list-item-id="e814d42426453e5fa184d5530b597758c"><span>﻿﻿Due to privacy policies and HIPAA, do not take photos of patients at this event.</span></li><li data-list-item-id="e7c072a1d8ecdce4464894a89e1162377"><span>﻿﻿You are welcome to take pictures of employee volunteers and of your table.</span></li></ul><p style="margin-left:0in;"><span>Return the form attached on the right-hand side of this page no later than Monday, March 23, 2026. For Heart Month, she decorated the doors of our patients with her amazing designs.
