Keep areas free from trash.

Keep cords in patient care areas up off the floor. 

Keep computer cables neatly tied so they do not create a trip hazard.

Report hazards:

This area at 8^th and Terrell was reported and fixed by our facilities team.

If you notice a hazard such as this, call facilities at 682-885-4026 ext. 54026. Then place an event report using the facilities icon. The date of “event” would be the date you submitted if a fall event did not occur.

If there is an urgent safety need, call the appropriate department to address as soon as possible.

When there is a spill, stay with the spill and contact EVS supervisor via Vocera or operator.

Spill kits are available at each information desk. Simply pull a sheet and lay it over the spill, contact EVS and EVS will respond as soon as possible.
