Team Peak Performers: Hurst Urgent Care

Summary

The Hurst Urgent Care are Team Peak Performer recipients for the second quarter of 2022 (January-March). Below is their nomination letter.

Team Peak PerformerHurst UCC closed temporarily on August 29, 2021. The Hurst UCC team found out the day before that their location would need to close to help staff the other six UCC locations. All team members took this information with grace and professionalism. They began the very next day floating to Mansfield, Walsh, Alliance, Southlake, Fort Worth and even Prosper. The majority of Hurst UCC staff live within five miles of the Hurst UCC location. The Hurst UCC team made a HUGE difference with staff and helped the other six UCC locations remain afloat during a difficult staffing shortage.

We are six months into Hurst UCC being temporarily closed and the Hurst UCC team is still floating to all six locations to cover shortages. We are very excited to have a re-open date in May. This will be nine months since the Hurst UCC team closed their doors/clinic and home away from home.

Some of the team have not seen each other or worked together during this entire time. Some of the team have worked more at other locations than at their home location. This team has made a selfless, dramatic impact on the UCC environment and staffing. The UCC's would not have made the influx and high census without the Hurst UCC team floating for these many months.

I would like to recognize the strain and stress the Hurst UCC team has been through; however, the resilience that they continue to show every day and shift by showing up at different locations. They work with a positive attitude, smile and make everywhere they go a better place to be. I am super proud of all of them.
