Western Day - Show Your Spirit on Wednesday, Feb. 1

8908_PeaksColoringSheet23_R1-page-001

Let’s celebrate Fort Worth’s western heritage and the annual Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo by dressing up in our finest cowboy and cowgirl wear. You’re encouraged to dress up in your favorite boots, blue jeans and bandanas. Have fun, but remember to dress appropriately for our little buckaroos! It's a great opportunity to wear specially-designed rodeo t-shirts, which are on sale now in Build-A-Bear at the Fort Worth campus.  Order them here

Special Note: We are out of short sleeve shirts, and we have limited sizing for long sleeves (extra small, small and 5XL).

Along with our employee dress up day at Cook Children's, February 1 is also Cook Children's Day at the Rodeo. Tickets are on sale now. Bring your little cowboys and cowgirls to the rodeo. Half of the proceeds from ticket sales to the Feb. 1 performance benefit the tiniest Texans under our care at Cook Children’s Level IV NICU Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. T-shirt proceeds also benefit NICU.

Rodeo tickets are available at the FWSSR box office or online.

Here's a fun coloring sheet to download and get creative with your own kiddos (or yourself-- coloring is great stress relief).
