In 1980, Lynne Dougherty lived in the small town of Peru, New York. Through her part time job as a babysitter, she was gifted tickets to a U.S. Hockey game to be played at Lake Placid in the Olympic Games. Little did she know that as a humble senior on the yearbook staff, she would be a part of a moment in history!
