Winter Weather Update

A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 23-24, across North Texas. Areas most likely to experience significant freezing rain and sleet are to the north and northwest of the DFW metroplex; however, there could certainly be icy travel and slick bridges and overpasses in the nearby area.
A wintry mix of freezing rain and sleet will spread across the region on Wednesday, with another round of wintry weather expected on Thursday. Ice accumulation of one-tenth to two-tenth of an inch will be possible within the advisory area, resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
Please check road conditions before traveling and allow yourself extra time to get safely to work.
