Words of Thanks to Our Health Plan Team

We wanted to share this message from a Cook Children's Health Plan employee and also offer thanks to Karen Love for her guidance and leadership. We know this is a challenging time for our Health Plan team. Please feel free to leave words of encouragement in the comments below (please know your comments will be made public).

“Just a note to say thanks for your leadership. You’ve worked tirelessly for the Health Plan the second you walked in the door and I’ve always appreciated your constant communication with staff, along with your candor and transparency, as allowed; however, it’s become even more appreciated of late. 

I have a friend who works at another children’s health plan in the state who sadly is not having the same experience. The communications to staff (at the other location) sound to be very limited and vague at best.

While I am still blown away by the state’s response, it is a comfort having you at the helm and knowing, without question, you’re not letting STAR/CHIP go down without a fight. Your confidence and words of encouragement have been a tremendous help during this time of uncertainty.
