Your Voice Matters 2025 Survey – System Results & Our Progress Together

Thank you again for sharing your feedback on the survey! We’re proud to be in the top 10% of our peers for engagement and continue to see excellence or improvement in every key metric of the survey. While we have a lot to be proud of, a growing health care system like ours has to remain curious and continuously improve our Workforce Experience.

Back in July, Megan Chavez, Vice President of the Cook Children’s Experience, talked about the combined system survey scores (all employees, physicians and APPs) and how your feedback helps us to know what we’re doing well and where we have opportunities for improvement as we work towards preeminence together. Teams Taking Action 

The Your Voice Matters 2025 Survey has provided us with an unprecedented opportunity to view Engagement, Safety Culture, Wellbeing, Resilience, Physician/APP and Nursing results together. You have played an important role in helping us to identify key areas for growth and improvement that will directly impact our employee, safety, and patient experiences.

Since results came out this summer, the survey collaborative team has partnered with leaders across the system to understand the feedback and involve teams in choosing a focus area for meaningful action.

As we begin FY26 and set priorities for the year ahead, it’s a great time to work with your leader to connect the dots between survey feedback and a team focus area. By taking two to three key actions and discussing progress throughout the year, you can take steps to improve that focus area together. When it comes to positive change, no one knows your team’s opportunities better than you.

System Next Steps 

Some opportunities need system-level attention and resources. The Cook Children’s Experience Task Force will share those priorities in a future Connect newsletter.
