Bunny Trail 2024

Your department is invited to take part in Bunny Trail 2024. Sign up now to hand out fun goodies to patient families. The kids will be collecting fun items such as stickers and small stuffed animals and can take photos with a bunny.

The first 20 applications received will be guaranteed participation.  Applications are due by March 15.

Teams will provide stuffed eggs or basket fillers for patients and families. Focus on making your table fun and inviting for patients and siblings and plan for 100 children, 1-2 items per child. Please have safe alternatives (stickers, small stuffed animals, etc.) for ages 3 and under. 

This event is for patients and siblings only; children of employees are not allowed to participate at this event. 

Please keep in mind:
 

• Set up can begin as early as 9 a.m.  
• We will have a costumed bunny present at the event for photo opportunities, please do not dress as a bunny. 
• Each department will have a table and two chairs. We do not have canopies. 
• We are celebrating this as a cultural event, and not a religious one. Please refrain from sharing religious items with patients. 
• No edible treats please. 
• No toys with small parts which may pose a choking hazard. 
• Latex balloons are not allowed in the hospital; Mylar balloons are fine but must have balloon weights attached. 
• Due to privacy policies and HIPAA, do not take photos of patients at this event. You are welcome to take pictures of employee volunteers and of your table.
