As we prepare for the permanent closure of Dillard Family Garden and Seventh Avenue on Tuesday, April 14, our priority is ensuring you can navigate campus with ease. We recognize that this change impacts the primary walking route for team members parking in the 8th & Terrell and Terrell Avenue garages, and staff at the Rosedale Office Building (ROB) and 901 Building.
Staff access between the north and south sides of campus will be through the South Tower, and some areas are accessible only with a Cook Children’s badge. (For non-employee access, please see separate directions on theConstruction page on our website.) Please only park in your designated area.
It is highly recommended to plan ahead and allow extra time to reach your destination and report for your shift at your scheduled time. For staff members who are already familiar with the South Tower basement routes, please model generosity and help your colleagues get where they need to go.
Putting Safety First as We Build the West Tower
As work on the West Tower expansion progresses, the Main Campus is becoming an even busier place. With new routes opening up between the north and south ends of the Main Campus, employees and patient families will be sharing the roads and walkways with increased construction traffic and heavy vehicles.
Our Cook Children’s values of safety and kindness can help us navigate these changes together. We want to ensure that every person—whether walking or driving—gets where they need to go.
