New Cooknet cover Now's The Time to Create Your New CookNet Site

As we move toward the official launch of our new, more CookNet, now is the time to begin populating the site.

We need all departments, locations and groups who previously had a CookNet site or are requesting a new one to go through training. Choose at least two people from your area who'll be responsible for going through training, uploading and maintaining your new CookNet information.

If you have any content that resides on the original CookNet (legacy/old site), click here for the Content Request Form - PowerApps, to begin the intake process of building out your new pages and presence on the site. Learn more and watch an informative video about the new CookNet site here.

Our Newest CookNet Sites

We are excited to continue to grow our New CookNet Intranet site. Please take a moment to view our new sites/pages and bookmark them as needed:

“We hope we don't ever get this call. We hope we don't ever see an influx of injured patients or patients into our ED, but we want our staff as prepared as possible. And what's the best way to prepare them? It's to drill realistically,” said Kaysey Pollan, Director of Safety & Emergency Management. See how real things got when Cook Children's conducted a mass casualty disaster drill on Friday, July 14.

Nursing: Embracing Our Values

Nursing Values Rachel HarlessjpgOur series on the Cook Children's values continues. Today we are spotlighting how our amazing nurses are able to live our values every day in their special role by highlighting the value of Collaboration.

Meet Rachel Harless, BSN, RN, who has been on both sides of the hospital – as a patient and now a nurse.

“Being in the hospital as a kid, you learn that the people around you make a difference in your day,” Rachel said. “That makes me want to be a better nurse.”

As of July 17, 2023

Our goal is to reach the 86% mark for a “likelihood to recommend" and we are currently at 85.6%.  We are recovering from the surge last fall and over the winter, but we have made significant progress since then.  Please continue to monitor this page to see where we are at in reaching our goal because we all want the opportunity to earn our Care Share bonus in November.
