Day in the Life of PeaksIntroducing Day in the Life of Peaks

Everyone's favorite dragon is going behind the scenes to learn what makes a normal day at Cook Children's Health Care System so extraordinary. To start his journey, Peaks hung out with our Custom Mobility Technicians at Home Health to see the amazing work they bring to the system every single day.

See postcards of his journey on Connect Newsroom and see it on our LinkedIn page!

Untitled-2Growing Together: The New Kids’ Place

For more 20 years, Kids’ Place Child Development Center has been a cornerstone of the Cook Children’s family. While the walls are changing, the memories, laughter, and family-centered care remain exactly the same.

On May 18, Kids’ Place officially moved just a few blocks away to a brand-new location on Ninth Avenue (between Cooper and Pruitt streets). Take a look at our story and photos of the new facility on Connect Newsroom.

We collected your submissions and are sharing parents' memories of Kids' Place through the years. Click here to see photos of adorable kids!

*We are no longer accepting submissions at this time*

The Process Improvement Newsletter is back, and with it, a renewed commitment to connection. Prior to COVID, this newsletter served as a way to highlight improvement work happening across the system. At that time, it was distributed in hard copy form, which limited its reach. As a result, some may not have been aware of its presence. While the newsletter paused in the years that followed, the work never did.

Click here to read the relaunch of the Process Improvement Newsletter on CookNet.
