Learn what’s on the horizon for Cook Children’s in fiscal year 2024, and the important role you will play in connecting the dots for our patients, families and each other.
The fall event takes place on Oct. 26, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. in Hochberger Auditorium. You'll be able to watch a live stream of the meetings.
Also, if you didn't get a chance to sign up for an Employee Resource Group at one of the launch parties last month, the chairs of the four ERGs will be at the Town Hall meetings to provide information and answer questions. They'll have some giveaways, too!
A Reminder of Resources Available During Difficult Times
We are aware that heartbreak and hurt occur every day, whether from what we see on the news overseas or sometimes in our own lives.
We understand that some of you may have family and friends in danger across the ocean or even in your own backyard.
Please remember that our chapels and meditation rooms are open around the clock if you need a place to rest, reflect or pray.
Our Spiritual Care teams are available to provide support and guidance. To contact a chaplain, please call 682-885-4000 and ask the operator to page the on-call chaplain.
Finally, we ask that during these difficult times or while watching the events of today’s news, that we remember our values of Kindness and Respect for all. Let’s offer empathy and love to our co-workers, their loved ones, our patients and their families.

We aspire to create a world where individuals with Down syndrome are treated equally and inclusively, where access to care, resources and support come at ease and acceptance is the norm,” Alexis writes.
