Prosper News Update (Jan. 8, 2026)

Good morning Prosper friends, 

Welcome to 2026! This Thursday and Friday we will celebrate our third birthday of the opening of hospital and the opening of the playground! Please join us for our birthday party Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. or Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Your leadership team is very excited to begin 2026 with you and continue to expand our services in the northern market. Please remember we are expecting Joint Commission very soon, potentially next week, so please be sure your unit checklists are completed. If you see something that is dirty, stained, or seems out of place, please bring it to our attention. We appreciate you and all that you have done to make CCMCP successful. We are excited to see where 2026 will take us as we move into year four!!

2026 Primary Care and Mental Health Benefits: Texas Health Family Care - Prosper is now open

To better serve employees and their covered families in 2026, Cook Children's is transitioning to a new partnership with Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG). This replaces the current CareATC benefit. To launch our new service, we're beginning in Prosper. 

Texas Health Family Care - Prosper is now open. The facility is a six-to-eight-minute drive east of the Prosper campus at 1970 W. University Drive, #100. Employees will find:

1. Reserved appointment times exclusively for Cook Children's and covered family members (18+).
2. Access to over 1,600 primary care visits in 2026 at no cost or low cost.

Cook Children's and THPG Fort Worth is slated to open in spring 2026. During this time CareATC Fort Worth will still be available.

Leaders: Return All Old ID Badges by Jan. 9

All leaders, please return all of the old identification badges that were collected when our new badges were issued. Please complete this by Friday, Jan. 9, 2026.

• Badges can be sent to Security Services via inter-office mail or you may e-mail Matt Hatcher or David Hollar to make arrangements to pick them up.
• If you have not yet distributed all of your team's new badges, please return all of the old badges you've already collected.
• Please also return any completed or nearly completed sign-out sheets.

A Fresh Start to Your Day: Join us for a Fruit Break!

To show our appreciation for everything you do, we’d love for you to join us for a Fresh Fruit Break from 6:30 - 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14. Take a moment to recharge and enjoy a healthy snack on us.

Gingerbread House Contest Winner

Thank you to everyone who participated in the gingerbread house contest. The creativity and effort that went into each gingerbread house was amazing. Our patients and families absolutely loved seeing everyone’s houses. We received so many wonderful comments from our families and it is clear how much joy this brought to our kiddos. Anything we can do to make coming to a medical appointment feel a little less scary and a little more fun truly makes a difference and this was a perfect example of that.

It's really special to see everyone getting involved for the sake of our patients and their families, and we are incredibly thankful that you took time out of your busy schedule to participate.

Congratulations to Team Endocrinology on winning the contest with the most votes.

We are so grateful for our team at Prosper MOB and look forward to doing more fun events to celebrate our staff and patients/their families.
