Research Team Embraces Continuous Improvement with Achieving Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification

About 100 members of the Research team at Cook Children’s graduated on Oct. 17 with their White Belt certification in the Lean Six Sigma program, led by the Process Improvement team. Navigating The Unknown: Family Reflects on Cancer Journey One Year Later

“Cook Children’s treated our family like their family,” said León “King” Reyes, father of 17-month-old Elliana Reyes.

Elliana was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) nearly one year ago at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth. Since then, they have been a part of every holiday with Cook Children's and created their own magical moments.
