Important Clarification: Aug. 1 Mask Fit Testing Compliance Requirement

We would like to provide some clarification on the Aug. 1 compliance requirement for mask fit testing.

The expectation is that employees are compliant by Aug. 1, not that every employee must complete a new mask fit test by that date.

If you have a current, valid fit test on file, you are already compliant. No additional action is needed until your fit test expires.

For example, if you completed your mask fit test in December 2025, it remains valid until December 2026, and you are currently compliant.

Employees whose fit tests are due to expire or have already expired should schedule a fit test to maintain compliance.

Before requesting an appointment, please verify the date of your most recent fit test to determine whether a new fitting is needed.
