When we prioritize our personal and professional well-being, we’re better equipped with the energy, motivation, and resilience to show up as our best selves each day.
Join us for one or more well-being activities planned throughout the month. Opportunities include self-care classes, connection events, and fun ways to explore new well-being practices through Well-Bingo and Well-Being On-Demand.
The best place to stay informed about everything happening during Well-being Month is the Well-being Month page on the Team Experience site on CookNet. You’ll find registration links for classes, details about upcoming activities and access to the Well-Bingo card.

Above & Beyond Award: Dani Miller
Congratulations to Dani Miller, RN in the NICU, our July recipient of the Above & Beyond Award. Dani was nominated by three colleagues who shared how her compassion, teamwork and commitment to supporting others make a meaningful difference every day.
Whether helping a new team member build confidence by explaining the “why” behind clinical skills, stepping in to assist a coworker without being asked, or taking extra time to support patients and families, Dani consistently goes beyond her regular responsibilities. Colleagues praised her willingness to share her knowledge, her positive attitude and her dedication to ensuring both patients and staff receive the support they need.
From comforting babies and reassuring parents to providing discharge education and helping fellow nurses manage busy shifts, Dani’s actions reflect the collaborative spirit and patient-centered care that define the Above & Beyond Award. Her colleagues noted that she is the kind of coworker who makes challenging days easier and helps create a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone around her.
Thank you, Dani, for the exceptional care and kindness you bring to the NICU each day.

Patient and Family Recognition of a Team Member
We are proud to recognize John Carnes, CT Technologist, for the kindness and care he brings to every patient interaction. A patient family recently took the time to share the following feedback:
“John made something potentially scary for our child a fun and interactive experience by being silly, explaining everything, and adding stickers to ‘The Donut.’ (Patient) walked away saying, ‘That was fun!’ Thank you for all you do to make families feel safe and loved.”
Thank you, John, for embodying our Promise.
