Prosper News Update (July 8, 2026)

Good afternoon Prosper family,

We hope everyone had a fantastic 4^th of July celebrating our nation's 250th anniversary! Hopefully, you managed to stay cool and enjoy some quality family time in this Texas heat. Next week, be sure to stop by for a fresh fruit break, and don't forget to wear your favorite team gear for World Cup Jersey Days. We also still have plenty of volunteer opportunities available for events sponsored by Cook Children’s. Thank you for your continued hard work—we truly appreciate everything you do!

Respirator Mask Fit Testing at Medical Center - Prosper

For those who have already signed up, upcoming mask fit testing will be in the third floor Medical Staff Conference Room 3401 or NICU Classroom, Room 3332/3333. Please refer to the email you received confirming your appointment time.

Week 2:

• 6:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.  July 14, third floor Medical Staff Conference Room 3401
• 6:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.  July 15, third floor Medical Staff Conference Room 3401
• 6:30- 11 a.m. July 16, NICU Classroom, Room 3332/3333

New Employee Orientation Moves to Calmont Building

New Employee Orientation (NEO) is being relocated to Calmont, starting July 13 and 14, 2026, for the next two to three years as a result of parking issues at Cook Children’s Medical Center – Fort Worth. This move will allow Cook Children's to continue welcoming new hires during construction at the Medical Center.

World Cup Jersey Days

In celebration of the World Cup Finals Weekend, sport your favorite team jersey from July 16 -19!

Don't forget you can purchase the Peaks the Dragon soccer jersey at our Under the Peaks store. The jersey costs $36 and runs small so be sure to size up. Employees can purchase this jersey and have it sent by inter-office mail. Send this Under the Peaks order form to underthepeaks@cookchildrens.org. Please make sure your Cook Children's location is listed on the form.

2026 Leukemia Symposium: July 23 - 25
